Editing

Lastly I began to edit the video using clips and audio recorded while we where filming once they where put together in the correct order i removed the greenscreen and replaced it with images I found from the internet to finish off i used gameplay footage and some royalty free music then creatde some end credits to thank and give credit to everyone involved.

setting up the set and filming

Once the crew know what to do and the date of recording we began setting up the set including the lights camera audio equipment and the greenscreen this involved angling the lights and the camera to make sure no shadows where being cast on the greenscreen and so wouldn't cause problems during editing.

After filming I used Photoshop to create a title screen for the video that would later be used in editing to create the title i used various images from the internet and removed the background from each with the magic wand tool so i could create my own background.

Editing

Video editing post production that joins raw audio and video together

Parallel editing is the process of cutting to a number of different story lines quickly that are happening at the same time

Titles and graphics - often used to highlight scenes for example in scot pilgrim vs the world the graphics are used with fast paced editing

Montage- A collection of related images/videos together for example the movie rocky uses a montage to show the passing of time during the training period  this is done by use of different locations, different clothes.

The kuleshov experiment - the effect of changing pieces of film to change the meaning ond gives a different message.

Insert shot- a shot that is from the audiences point of view to draw them into the scene.

Transitions - devolve and cut are the most common and suited transitions to use and dont over use transitions.
