Today had to research and complete a Location recce, Risk assessment, location permissions and talent release:
Location recce - A location recce is a pre-filming visit to a location that you plan to film at to check its suitability. while doing this you must consider lighting, possible interference (Noise Ect.), room for the crew and equipment, facilites available and possible health and safety issues. After i looked round my cosen location I filled out all the necessary form including a rough sketch of the area, the dimensions of the room and possible issues it has.
Location Permission - After deciding that my location is suitable i had to request permission to recorde there this waas done simply by sending a letter to the owner of the property explaining my intention and requesting written permission.
Performers consent - Next i had to make sure my presenter agreed and understood what it is that I needed him to do once again this needed a written agreement from the performer.
Risk assessment - Lastly came the risk assessment. To do this I had to fill out different forms that highlight the different risks that are involved with filming at my desired location stating what measures needed to be put in place to minimise the risk.
later I had to get a crew to operate my camera, lights and audio equipment the people who agreed are:

after i had a crew we had a meeting to make sure everyone was up to date and knew what to do.
